Hello and welcome, Annaboo, Massasad1, and Eileen. Thank you for joining Hawthorn and Kristen. I hope you are all very well and I live up to you following my ramblings and crafting. You have made me one happy bunny. How exciting :-)
The reason I haven't been on is because I have been finishing projects off. As you know I was nearly done on my first real size blanket and only had a few more rows to go. So here we go, my Ta Dah moment:
I am really pleased with how the colours and the stitches came out. I edged it rather nervously as I just (and I mean just) about had enough yarn left to do a single crochet row in most of the colours. I then edged it with the same shell pattern that made up the blanket in antique rose pink as i had a whole ball left of that one.
I have no idea how many rows is in it - but it took me about 24/25 50gm balls of Kool Kotton (which is 50% cotton and 50% acrylic) and I used a 3.5 mm hook (for the only reason being that I love it - it is old and metal and it hooks good if you know what I mean?)
Anyhow, all in all I am a pleased bunny tonight - new followers and a new blanket - lovely xxx
